From the vernal equinox (around March 20) to the summer solstice(around June 20) covers a broad spectrum of pricing "seasons" in airfare.

Chances are you can find under $350 (plus taxes of about $70) but a lot depends on your exact dates, your flexiblity and your willingness/ability to purchase on a quick decision.

You might do well to get on the weekly fare watcher(s) of www.nwa.com as well as expedia, travelocity, etc.

Good idea to check in periodically with the wizards of the cheap flights forum on www.eurotrip.com as well.

Best wishes,

Rex
where are you flying from? United used to have good fares to Brussels out of Washington DC (they run a direct flight), but then Sabena went out of business, so United's fares went way up. Right now though, they're running an e-fare of $219 round trip (plus taxes) to either Amsterdam or Brussels from DC. Although you have to travel in January. I'd say anything under $400 is good in the spring. Anything under $300 (before taxes) is excellent.

oops, sorry, just saw thay you're flying out of NYC (on your message text). In that case, there was a new airline, VG airlines, that was running direct service to Brussels over the summer for about 50% of the price of the other major airlines. I think that they picked up Sabena's old route. The website is: http://www.delseyairlines.com/ and they have a $259 r/t fare from NYC to Brussels.
