buy cell phones in Scotland?
We are planning to buy cheap phones with prepaid minutes when we arrive at Glasgow airport. Is this a good idea? Last trip to Europe we got phones ahead of time with some service and it ended up costing an awful lot.

Yes, it's a good idea, the mobile phone market is very competitive. Plenty of phone shops and supermarkets offering PAYG phone deals, Carphone warehouse as one example:
