Thanks guys!

Steve, you are so right about Sienaweb having that Siena-Assisi schedule. How reliable are thse schedules? I found a different Siena-Assisi schedule at www.sienaturismo.com. It shows a SENA bus at 10:25 AM. This would be more convenient because we are traveling Siena-Assisi on a Wednesday.

Also, any buses from Assisi to Gubbio?

There is a bus from Assisi to Gubbio. I don't remember the exact time, perhaps 9am or so. You change busses in Perugia, there is an hour or so between busses. The tourist office in Assisi will have the schedule.

Thanks, MK. I was hoping there'd be a direct bus to Gubbio without having to change in Perugia. Guess I'll figure this out when I get there.

I read in one of the guidebooks (I don't remember which one) that there is indeed a direct coach from Assisi to Gubbio, leaving mid-morning. Check with the tourist office in Assisi.

Thanks GAC! The Frommers guidebook also said that there is one direct Assisi-Gubbio bus that leaves in the morning. I will check with the Tourist Office in Assisi.

As far as I know, you have to change in Perugia - it was still like that in Oct 2001 - according to the schedule we got from the Assisi tourist office!

Regards
Helen Malan
