Hi DAR!

Go to this web site - www.fs-on-line.com
The site for Italian train schedules.

Most countries have on line schedules available & you can find them by searching the web or searching this site. Most of them have been listed
here many, many times.

The Rail Europe web site lists schedules, but not all trains. I think they limit it to longer, major routes or express trains.

Sorry, can't help with buses. Although it has been discussed here before that there are public buses between Siena/San Gimignano. Perhaps the tourism offices of the major cities can provide that if you really need it in advance.

Also, most posters here highly recommend a car for Tuscany/Umbria-- myself included. It's easy driving.

Buon viaggio!

Hello Dar,

I don't think there are DIRECT services between any of those.

Rome-Montefollonico:
Take the train from Rome to CHIUSI, then the bus from Chiusi Station to MONTEPULCIANO.
I can't find a bus service to Montefollonico, but if there is one it would be from Montepulciano or Pienza.

Montefollonico-San Gimignano
Take the bus from PIENZA to SIENA.
From Siena there are buses to S. Gimignano.

S. Gimignano-Florence:
This usually involves a change of bus at POGGIBONSI.

Timetables for these routes are on:
www.turismoverde.com
www.comune.siena.it/train
www.comune.poggibonsi.siena.it/citta/giro2

Let me know if I can be of more help ...

Steve
