OK, now we've REALLY finalized our trip. Well...provided we can go directly from Toledo to Cordoba. Does anyone know if this possible? It seems as if the train goes back to Madrid. Is there a bus that can go from Toledo to Cordoba without having to go to Madrid? I'm going a little crazy with all of these bus and train possibilities!!!! Thanks!!!!

You will need to go back to Madrid but it's only 20mins from Toledo to Madrid by train so you won't be backtracking too much.

You can take a bus from Toledo to Ciudad Real, check in
www.aisa-grupo.com and from there a train to Cordoba
www.renfe.es
If your timetable matches, this is a cheaper way than Toledo-Madrid-Cordoba via AVE, but it will take you about 1 hour more.

Remember the bus from Toledo arrives at the downtown bus terminal in Ciudad Real, but RENFE train station is a good few miles out in the suburbs, so you need to find a bus or taxi to connect.
