Budget hotel recommendations for Heidelberg, Augsburg, Nurnberg or Stuttgart
I'd appreciate any tips from anyone re: cheaper accomodations in the cited locations. Personal experiences would be appreciated, as well. I would like to have my own bathroom though...ideas?

Haven't stayed here, but this place in Augsburg has a good location right off the pedestrian zone and is an easy walk to the train station. Most hotels near here are fairly pricey. <BR>http://www.ostamkoe.de/

We ususally stay at the Zur Backmulde in Heidelberg. Very close easy walk to the old town and the river. Phone 011 49 6221 53630 fax 011 49 6221 536660. It is nice but I don't know what you mean by budget. Check it out if around $100 per night breakfast included is in your budget.
