Budapest Accommodation
I'm trying to arrange a long weekend in Budapest for four couples and I can't find any 4-bedroomed self-catering accommodation, all the websites which say 'sleeps 8' only have 2 or maximum 3 bedrooms. Any suggestions anyone?

hi skylatrojones,
i see what you mean.
have you thought of 2 apartments close together?
or even, horrible thought, 4 hotel rooms.
the Hilton has some good weekend offers on if you book before the end of Jan and is in a great position too.

We stayed just off Andrassy Ave a block from the Opera House at Hotel Pest. Do not stay in District VIII. We were told by Budapest residents that there is more crime in this district.
You can find information at this website about the districts.

hi Brat,
we stayed there too. Very central, very near to the metro, lovely large room and bathroom. the staff were nice and helpful too, and the fish soup served at the sports bar on the near-by main-road is the best I've ever tasted - we were only there 3 days and we had it twice.
all round good idea!

annhig We were amazed at the size of the room at Hotel Pest. The breakfast room was neat with all the stone. The location was great for the metro, bus, and walking. We loved walking on Andrassy and stopping at the little grocery store just off the Octagon and stopping for coffee.
