Budapest

Going to Budapest for Thanksgiving, will it be cold and should I wear my fur coat?

No, fur is murder and lacks taste.

Will it be cold, probably but don't be surprised if you get a warm spell.

Always find it pretty funny and paradoxical

that folks who eat burgers

Decry fur as "murder" like there is a big diff

between wearing and eating...

weather2travel.com Climate Guides good info

Cool sometimes quite cold with fronts

so dress warm fake fur or whatever...

travel.state.gov details all the club food scams

run there can get fairly dodgy so be careful.

Happy Travels!

I am not a man and just want to stay warm. It came in handy in Moscow in Nov. and also Zurich. What kind of coat should one wear?

I found the below web site useful as a planning tool. I think you are too early for the Christmas Markets, but if not, it is within easy walking distance of the Intercontinental, Marriott and Sofitel chain bridge.

One should wear whatever one bloody well wants to wear if it is useful and comfortable. The odds of some random Magyar spotting you in your hometown 10 years from now and cursing you out for wearing a fur coat on cold days is exceedingly remote. The odds of you running into bilboburglar and him throwing red paint on your coat is also remote, and if you have a hubby or boyfriend, he would be within his rights to knock bilboburglar on his hobbittish arse for doing so.
