Which east-european capital is more worth a visit?

Having spent considerable time in both cities...I lean toward Bucharest, especially if you were to do some day trips. Although, Sofia is also well placed for day trips. I assure you, both would be far different than any of the Western European cities you've visited. I recommend the Opera Hotel in Bucharest, and the Maria Louisa in Sofia...
