2 Days to Spend in Either Prague or Malta?
I'm going to Europe for 20 days at the end of May and I will have two days/nights in between going to Barcelona and Budapest to go to one more place. Flights to and from Malta or Prague work out to be quite cheap so those two places are what I'm deciding between.
I'm a 25 y/o male who wants a good mix of nightlife, history, culture etc. I've heard a lot of good things about Prague but not as much about Malta. However, the small amount that I have heard about Malta suggests that it's a can't-miss place.
Help me out!
Thanks

Malta is a typical resort mostly, it will be very nice during this time of the year, so you can enjoy the walks (e.g. old town Valetta for history & culture) or beach. Prague is totally different in a sense that besides obvious "touristy places", it's still a central European city where you won't feel like you on a beach holiday, imho

How many places are you visiting in your 20 days? I'm guessing you would be better off adding days to places already on your itinerary rather than adding a new destination where you won't be there long enough to even get a taste.
If you have two nights for this little side trip, that is only one full day. It takes time to travel from place to place, at least half a day and in some cases, most of a day. You have to figure from the time you check out of one lodging, transport to the airport or train station, waiting time, actual travel time, travel from the airport/train station to your next lodgings.

I'm going to three other places. Malta/Prague would be the 4th. I'm meeting friends in Barcelona and Budapest before and after those two free days so I'd like to go somewhere solo. The fact that it will be a short stay doesn't bother me. I'm just looking for a cool place to spend a couple nights and see a little bit of the city
