British Airways strike dates announced
For those who hadn't heard, the main union representing BA cabin crew has announced strikes on January 29, 30 and 31; February 5, 6 and 7; and February 12, 13 and 14. More pain for long-suffering BA customers after the "gate gourmet" crisis of 2 years ago, the security disruption of last summer and the fog chaos just before Christmas.

I'm not sure, Kids..have YOu ever tried to run one?
I have received several recent e-mails from BA apprising me of the upcomign events and what the airline is doing to ensure the least amount of disruption as possible and my flight with BA isn't even in the strike timeframe.
I'd say that IS a good way to run an airline.

Just be careful if you are flying long-haul in-bound flights after 31 Jan on BA. Flights will be cancelled for 1 & 2 Feb for trans-atlantic routes, up to 3 Feb for some Asian routes. I suspect similar post-strike cancellation for the two latter phases (if they go through the actual strike indeed). I'm supposed to fly back from Asia 9 Feb on BA--now I'm seriously thinking of alternative routes.
BTW, if US Air has an industrial action, would the headline be US Air strike? Good thing they don't fly to Baghdad or Kabul.
