British Airlines Internet Frustration

I have never felt so frustrated!! I've spent hours today speaking to multiple BA agents who are unable to get me a confirmation # for a direct flight from Dubrovnik to London for September. It's impossible to book on the net itself because if I put country of origin as Canada, it will only show Canadian cities. When I put country of origin as Croatia, it won't accept my credit card. One supervisor even told me that, if I fly from Croatia to London, I need a Croatian credit card. I absolutely will not book over the phone with the reservations desk out of principle as they will charge me $20 per ticket. Suggestions??

www.aa.com. "More options" screen. "AA, Eagle and oneworld" button. LGW<>DBV. Done.

Did you think about EuropebyAir? They have a flight coupon for this route, I think -- but check to be sure. It doesn't answer your question, but the flight can be cheaper than BA's.

I have just about given up on using BA website. I can never get or find what I want.

I finally gave up a few months ago and booked thru their telephone lines..and what a joke those are. I paid the extra fee but they never mentioned that the tickets were not upgradable! Just that they were non refundable and non transferable.

They are the only direct non stop from here but even with changing in Miami or Atlanta I get much better service from AA or Delta.

An it bitches me off that I only get 1/2 mile instead of 1 for flights.. I'm not even sure of that beacuse my boolong shows approx.2400 miles for 1 sewgment and nothing for the return..If I only get 2400 miles for a RT ,it's the last time I fly BA!

Try expedia.ca for flights from Dubrovnik to London. Be sure to put in LON for london so as to get all possible routes. You can buy September flights on BA for that route (via LGW) for about CAN $315, as of today.

I was set on flying BA this summer from San Francisco to Paris. My return was just Heathrow to San Fran. Couldn't do it on the website; eventually booked with Virgin. The funny thing is that Virgin takes us to Heathrow and then we take a BA flight to Paris. Spent twenty min. on the phone trying to get seat assignments only to be told that my flight doesn't do advance seat assignments. Very disappointed with them.

I can't think of one European airline that do advance seat assignments for intra-European flights. So it's not just BA.
