Breakfast at La Coupole in Paris
I'm going to try posting this again under another title. I accidentally posted it on the United States, and I've tried twice to post it on Europe, to no avail.
My husband and I have only been to La Coupole once, and that was for lunch with reservations on Easter Sunday. I know that they have a breakfast buffet from 8:30 to 10:30, but are they open as a cafe at other times? We plan to go there shortly after we arrive in Paris, have coffee & croissants, if possible, and then walk over to the Tour Montparnasse. We'll be there too late for the buffet breakfast, though.

There are quite a few cafes around there, famous or not, that are surely open for a cafe/croissant if La Coupole is not..

Travelnut,
Thanks for the link... I knew that the buffet was over at 10:30, but wondered if they offered croissant and tea/coffee the rest of the day. Not a big deal if it's not, but we did want to eat there
In some books, La Coupole is listed as a cafe, but in others it is a brasserie. For some reason I have the idea that it is open as a cafe the rest of the day. Guess we'll find out.
