Borghese Gallery Rome telephone booking experience (using Roma Pass)
I will be in Rome next month, purchasing a Roma Pass upon arrival, and using it for the Borghese Gallery (and also the Colosseum).
I rang the gallery number (from UK 00-39-06-32810) and after going through a couple of automated selections, was told that I was number 6 in the queue; after about 10 min. an English speaking operator came on the line; I told her that I had a Roma Pass and wanted to book 2 tickets for Sun 28 Apr and told her the time that I wanted them for; she asked for a surname and telephone number, then she gave me a 5-digit confirmation number. Bam. Sorted. On the day, all I'll need is my Roma Pass and that 5-digit code.
I have read that you still have to pay a Euro2 (each) fee when booking online (with a Roma Pass) - but this is not so.
