Hi,

Does anyone know if this is open on May 1? I have checked on their website, but I don't see anything. I've also emailed them, but I've not gotten any response.

Any info would be appreciated.

Hi Celiaanne, it sure looks like is it open. The only two days they show that they are closed is Christmas Day and New Years Day. Enjoy and I hope you have some time to stroll through the Borghese Park also.

Thanks, LoveItaly. It's my husband who is going and I am sure he will be happy to hear this as a few places he's inquired about are closed that day.

I was there last year and we did a very quick stroll through the grounds trying to make our reservation time. It sure is big! After the tour, we had a very nice lunch outside at the restaurant on the grounds. Gorgeous day and beautiful place!

Yes the Borghese Gardens are beautiful, and a nice respite from the normal noise etc. of Rome.
