I've been scouring books, websites, and forums for good (and special) restaurants in Bordeaux and not finding much consensus. Do you have personal favorites to recommend? People on this forum never steer me wrong! My price range is generally up to about 20 - 30 Euro for lunch and 50 - 70 Euro for dinner, but I do love a bargain. And I don't want to ignore scruffy but authentic experiences. Thanks!

The Bar à Vin is located on the ground floor of the Maison du Vin de Bordeaux, great wines and foie gras for lunch!

The Gordon Ramsey restaurant in the Intercontinental is excellent for lunch or dinner!
