Booking Flights within Europe

Can anyone recommend a website for booking flights from within Europe? Orbitz, et al can't help if I don't start from the US.

www.applefares.com for budget airlines.
www.opodo.net for all the regular airlines.
www.ryanair.com budget airline that's not included on the applefares.com site.
There are always the individual airlines web sites. Just do a search on google.com if you know what airline you want.
Good Luck!

Thank you. I will try those. I want to fly from Berlin to Venice and checked KLM and Lufthansa via their websites. One-way was $598 -- could that be right? That's more than my whole ticket from WDC, to London to Berlin to Rome and then back to WDC!

Try germanwings.com and there's another new low cost Germany-based airline called Hapag Lloyd Express or something like that. Post here again if that is not enough information for you to find it.

Best wishes,

Rex
[email protected]

Try:
www.aerfares.com
www.airberlin.com< BR>
Or try the Travelocity website using the 'My dates are flexible' option, to see what carriers may be cheapest - then try their websites.
Good luck

Many thanks for your help. I have had good luck with www.opodo.com and will try www.aerfares.net and www.germanwings today. I would like to travel between Berlin, Prague and Venice. The cost of Rail Europe for all three stops for two adults is $876. The price of a flight via opodo is $605 for two. Seems to me it makes more sense to fly (less time and less expensive). Do you agree? PS - Thanks Rex for topping.

Just so you know -
WWW.aerfares.com changed it's name to www.applefares.com. There was some kind of a lawsuit about the first name.
Good Luck!

You're right, KCM. Orbitz won't let you book if trip doesn't originate within the US. However, Travelocity will let you do this.

Try www.ryanair.com. They offer wonderful specials all priced to go (14 euro to 29 euro all around Europe). I flew them from Frankfurt to Pisa this summer and only paid 14 euro for my flight!

I've booked a couple of flights on easyjet.com - rates are very low.
