Our family is going to Rome in February - it is our daughter's "sweet 16" present at her request. Love her she is very cool. We're renting an apartment in Trastevere. Have a good trip BookChick.

Bon voyage bookchick! Our trip to Italy is our second and is March 8th to April 3rd. Rome is March 9th to 16th. Ater Rome we have a week in Montepulcino, two nights in Florence, three in Venice, 5 nights in Sorrento and one at the Rome Airport. Can't wait but I'm not at the impatient stage yet, I'm still at the savouring upcoming trip stage and doing minor reservations for museums.

I would like to thank you all most sincerely for all of your good wishes. My trip to Rome has been cancelled, however, as I was admitted to the hospital for breathing problems. (I'm not and never have been a smoker.) Until the doctors untangle the problem, I'm out of my office and at home, and will, I deeply hope, return to Rome later in 2007.
