My favorite is The Companion Guide to Paris, by Anthony Glyn

http://www.boydell.co.uk/823.HTM

But I also like Pariswalks, by Alison & Sonia Landes, and Walking Paris: Thirty Original Walks in and Around Paris, by Gilles Desmons.

I like the Eyewitness Guide and the Knopf Guide, but by far my favorite guides are the three volume Around and About Paris guides by Thirza Vallois. They go into great detail about the history of each Arrondisement.
