Richard, I'm thoroughly enjoying following you through Paris; however, this constant talk of food has made me so hungry I had to go out and buy a baguette and open a tin of foie gras
Mmmmmm..........

Great report, Richard... BUT
you wrote:
"The weather today is so-so, it a bit chilly, overcast and damp...I need a scarf."
Didn't I tell you to bring a scarf? And didn't you give me a snippy reply? Hmmm...I only said that because up here in Brussels, it suddenly got quite chilly and damp...we went out in our usual clothes and had to turn around, go back in and find something warmer.
Anyway, I hope you get one before the week-end, as the temps are supposed to plummet in Paris and London (and here too) starting Friday evening, even a *possibility* of some light snow!

Wasn't there a line in a film starring Clark Gable that went something like "Frankly, I don't give a damn."

Sorry, Smith, you got it wrong:

Scarlett: Rhett, Rhett... Rhett, if you go, where shall I go? What shall I do?

Rhett Butler: Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn.

Richard, have you scoped out any other hotels in your neighborhood for your next trip? What's up at the jeanne d arc?

Richard, add me to your list of fans. I love your quote, "I want to go everywhere I've never been." That says it all for me. Only one more week for us and then we'll be in Paris, ah...
