If you are planning a trip to Spain between Nov.29 and April 3, there is a sale going on for stays at their Paradors. We have stayed at many of them, wonderful experiences.

We spent 3 days at the parador in Ronda using it as a base for exploring some of the white villages and we took a day trip to Gibraltar. We didn't ask for it but they gave us the top room on the left that had a HUGE wrap-around balcony. We liked Ronda and the parador a lot.

The are some great bargains, starting at 66 euros, with this sale, and what's especially nice is that these sale rates are valid until April 3. The usually more expensive Cádiz Parador by the sea has a weekday sale rate of only 95 euros.

HappyTrvlr, many thanks for this information. I looked at the Granada parador for March 2nd week and the website quoted almost €400 for a non-refundable booking for two nights. Is that normal or am I doing something wrong, is there a promo code maybe? Actually, I didn’t see anything about the promo they’re running on the website.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!

geetika,
The Parador Black Friday sale doesn't include all Paradors; the Granada Parador has the most highly coveted rooms, rates are the most expensive of all Paradors in the chain, and so it's not included in any sale. The lowest rate for some dates, but not all, during the winter months at this Parador, is 225 euros/night, but the rate for Jan 2, a holiday there (el Día de la Toma), is €458/night, the highest rate I see for 2020. During the International Music & Dance festival in June, rates are 420/night. Unfortunately, it's always pricey to stay there.
I belong to the Amigos program and they send me email updates about all the upcoming sales, including the Black Friday one, but there's never a bargain rate for Granada.
You can see all the participating Paradors in this sale, from 66/night to 95/night here:

Maribel, thanks a ton for explaining, very kind of you, I did think there must be something I didn’t quite get. I can also imagine the Granada parador would be rated high on their list, I was quoted a little over €200/night non refundable for March second week.
