Biella Candelo- Any info?

Making a visit to Biella from base in Como in late July. Would like to find a place for lunch and walk around with kids (11, 15, 17) to show them small town Italy (my Italian is passable). Anyone have info about those 2 very small towns? Good casual restaurant in Candelo, and where to walk around?

2 hrs along different motorways from Como up to Biella and 2 hrs back on the same boring motorways: What should that be good for?
Have a look at https://borghipiubelliditalia.it/lombardia/ and add may be Orta San Giulio, Vocogna, Locarno and you will find dozens of scenic small borghi much closer to Como than Biella.

Thanks for the website. Interestingly, Candelo is on there... Have to go to Biella for quick business, so will be there anyway. Just wondering if anyone has personal knowledge of the 2 small towns. And have stayed in Orta San Giulia many years ago. Yes, beautiful. Not sure we'll have time this trip, but wonderful place. Had fantastic dinner at Al Sorriso across the lake years ago.

"Have to go to Biella for quick business",
That changes all!
BTW: Al Sorriso is still a famous restaurant!
