Biarritz France accommodations

Hello everyone, we are two couples in our early 60's. We will be traveling to San Sebastian Spain in the beginning of July of next year, after we are driving to Biarritz and staying there for 2 nights. Can someone recommend a place to stay, it could be a hotel, bed and breakfast, or quaint little hotels that have air conditioning. Thank you

The great hotel in Biarritz is the Palais. Wonderful rooms and views.

I hope you're not doing this in a rental car, picking up in Spain and dropping off in France. The drop-off fees will be enormous.

Can't help with Biarritz accommodations, though I do agree the Palais is the cat's meow.

La Regina in Biarritz is well located, an easy walk to the lighthouse and to the busy beach and the Casino Barrière. The Hôtel du Palais is of course, the most expensive, but it's right on the beach, with a pool and parking.

But instead of staying in Biarritz, you might want to consider Saint-Jean-de-Luz, just down the road. It's far more interesting, has a few more excellent restaurants and we found La Réserve (hotel-lareserve.com) a great place to spend a few days.

A big second endorsement for St-Jean-de-Luz. We love that town!
