Oh, fabulous, Melissa, you really must try the wonderful strawberries! If they are still serving the roasted chestnuts outside the BHV near the Hôtel de Ville, then I suggest eating them together. Mmmm.

Rebecka: Where did you find Le Fig. Sounds delicious. My favorite is at Andre Cleret in the 1st. It is a dense, dark chocolate cake called a malagache. Last time I was there they were closed for the week. I was needless to say very disappointed.

Unfortunately, opaldog, I don't recall the name of the patisserie. This was in 1996. I hope they still make them.
