Best Place in Europe for Easter Surprise
I am looking for a surprise long weekend getaway for my husband. We live in central Europe - am considering Barcelona, Stockholm or Prague (but open to others). Any suggestions? Price is not an issue. Let's see how creative you guys can get...thanks!!!

I spent a spectacular Easter in Jerusalem. Maybe Israel isn't considered Europe - and things are much more unsettled than when I was there in the 70's - but it was quite moving (and fascinating) to be in Jerusalem during Holy Week. I particularly remember the parade through the Old City on the Saturday before Easter Sunday.

Many years ago we spent Easter week in Torremolinos, Spain. Good Friday we went to Seville and although I am not at all religious, it was a very moving experience. Likewise the parade through the streets of Malaga at midnight as I recall Saturday night. I would imagine Barcelona would also be great. Spain just seems right somehow.

Thanks - I am leaning towards Barcelona,and staying at the Hotel Arts. Has anyone stayed there, or would you stay someplace else? Any good restaurant recommendations for a special evening? This may be an odd question, but can tourists go fishing in Barcelona (like deep dea fishing)?
