BEST PICS UPDATE I UPLOADED A FEW!
Well I did it...

That is, my husband did it. We put a few shots from our Europe trip last Sept. onto the web if anyone's curious. Some good shots I think.

I swear I took the Notre Dame shot. It looks like a postcard but it's not. I was lucky.

The Louvre shot was taken at 2 a.m. We couldn't sleep so we walked around the city for a few hours and ended up at the Louvre. We must have shot an entire roll of film. It was great not worrying about people getting in the shot.

The address is www.riverside.quik.com/aarons/lynn_pics.html

Hope you like them!!

It should be http://www.riverside.quik.com/aarons/LYNN_PICS.html

I went to http://www.riverside.quik.com/aarons/ when I got the File Not Found message, and it showed the index for that page, and Lynn's pic file is in there. I guess caps matter.

I like the Port Alexander photo the best - the way the street lamps shine is very pretty, and I like their reflection on the outside edge of the bridge.

Great pictures Lynn! The one of Notre Dame *is* spectacular. There used to be what we called a "bistro barge" in the Seine just a little to the right of your vatage point. One of my happiest memories is sitting on the outside deck facing ND with my spouse, completely jet-lagged with a glass of St. Veran. What a lovely reinroduction to Paris. Does anyone know if it is still there? [We didn't get to that part of Paris this last visit.]
I hope more people share pictures!
Thanks!

I'm glad you like the pictures. Actually, I'm glad you were able to look at them. We were having a problem with the address. We never uploaded pictures before but fortunately, my husband loves to figure out these kinds of problems.

This week promises to be hectic for me but if I get a chance, I'll scan a few more.

Happy Traveling!
