My husband and I are looking for a nice quiet hotel centrally located both in Amsterdam and Berlin for spring 2018 trip. We would love to have suggestions of wonderful hotels, really need quiet hotels.

We are looking for hotels in the 150-250 range.

Also any wonderful side trips/day trips in Amsterdam would be appreciated.

I stayed in the Mandala Hotel across from the Sony Center and within walking distance of many sites. We had an executive corner room which was very quite, very large, super comfortable. It had a wall of windows and we looked out at the Sony Center’s lights that gently changed colors at night. I loved it and I would stay there again. Price wise it would be at the high end of your range if it’s still in that price range at all.
