Beautiful Bracelets in Paris?
One souvenir that I always try to purchase when I go somewhere new is a bracelet for myself. I don't really care for wearing necklaces, and bracelets tend to be a bit less expensive anyway.
Then every time I wear it it reminds me of my trip. And when I'm asked where I got it I can say, "Oh I got this in Amsterdam in 2001."
I'll be in Paris in May, and would like to find some great jewelry stores for browsing. Not looking for "costume" jewelry, but not extremely upscale either. Somewhere in the price range of $50-$200 USD for a bracelet. Any recommendations? I like the styles of Sorrelli, Patricia Locke, and Liz Palacios.
Thanks!

There is very interesting jewelry in that price range at Metal Pointu's, with several locations throughout Paris:
13 rue du Cherche Midi (6th), 13 rue du Jour(1st), 9 rue de Charonne (11th), 19 rue des Francs-Bourgeois (4th), and 2 rue du Marche St. Honore (1st).

Well I see Nikki beat me to the punch with my favorite place to go for jewelry in Paris, Metal Pointus! Thanks Nikki for also listing the locations of the stores.
Jenblase, I can see by looking at the kinds of jewelry you already like, that you probably are drawn to colored stones as well. In that case, I highly recommend Cecile et Jeanne (you can see locations at their website www.cecilejeanne.com). Extremely distinctive jewelry, and fun stores.
Although there are now 4 Cecile et Jeanne stores in the US, this is still very much a Parisian brand. And of course much more fun to buy there!!
Have fun adding to your collection!
