Beaches-Cap ferrat & Villefranche-sur-Mer

We'll be driving around the coastal areas of the Riveria and I was wondering if there are public beaches on Cap Ferrat & Villefranche-sur-Mer? Parking? Thanks for the help.

One our drives around St.-Jean-Cap-Ferrat I don't remember seeing any public beaches. Most of the peninsula is taken up with private houses, some of which have their own dock way down at sea level. I think the main beach area is the one over at Villefranche, but someone else might know in more detail.

There is a public beach in Villefranche. Not sure how far parking is though (the parking I know is near the marina end near the Hotel Welcome where I stayed. I think the beach is at the other end of town.

There is a public walking/hiking path on Cap Ferrat that follows the coast. Not sure where to park or how to get access to the path though

Best public beach in that area might be Beaulieu sur Mer

There's a great public beach in Juan les Pins with a big parking lot.

I don't remember a beach in St. Jean Cap Ferrat...our hotel there had a tiny piece of pebbly property off the pool which, I guess, constituted a beach. The marina/harbor area at St. Jean Cap Ferrat has a public parking lot. My husband met Ivana Trump there one morning. She and her parade of limos were arriving to get on a boat at the marina.
Villefranche-sur--Mer had a "beach" area, again looked like more pebbles tha sand. If I remember correctly, parking was more spread out along the coastline.

There are at least 2 public beaches in Cap Ferrat. The two that I can think of are: 1)Just after you turn onto the cap, there are signs for the plage - on the beach, you look towards Nice with Villefranche to your right. Has a payante section too. 2) Further out onto the cap - past St. Jean I think - public beach facing towards Monaco.

There is a nice beach right in the center of St.Jean Cap Ferrat. It is located next to the marina towards Monaco. Another one at the other end of town at the end of the main street and faces Villefranche Sur Mer, and another one out on the cape. Parking is a problem though.

At Villefranche there is a beach east of town towards Monaco with beaucoup parking.

Beaulieu has two nice beaches; one at either end of town by the two marinas.
