Beach and Wellness Resort near Seville, Spain
Looking for a beach and wellness resort hotel within approx. 2 hours max. driving distance from Seville, Spain.
Should be a relaxed, yet slightly upscale place with a nice pool, generous rooms and a pretty location.
Not restricted to locations in Spain - should your favourite be located in Portugal's Algarve but roughly fits the other criteria outlined, do not hesitate to mention it.
Any advice and recommendation will be very much appreciated. Thank you.

Check out the Parador Cristobal Colón (AKA Parador de Mazagón) near Palos de la frontera (Huelva) from whence they set out on their first Voyage of Discovery - not much scenery there, though
Matalascañas: A bit closer to Sevilla (i.e., just west of the Donana wildlife Refuge, the largest in Europe) a fairly new coastal Golf resort. It's south of Almonte and the Santuario de la Virgen del Rocio - a very busy place (Church, not the resort) Pentecost Sunday when the Feria del campo and Romeria end there. It's around the first of June.

I think you would be pushing it to make the Algarve or Marbella in 2-hours max from Sevilla. You could probably make it to Ayamonte or maybe even Faro with your time constraint. I don't know about Costa del Sol (i.e., Marbella). I did see some luxury High-rise hotels or Condo complexes from the Ferry as I went from el Puerto de Santa Maria to Cadiz. Sorry; I can't recommend any of those - I am a low budget traveler.

Ned,
I really appreciate your info. Unfortunately, the Parador de Mazagon doesn't appear to be available for the dates I am looking for.
I guess I need to stretch the time frame and probably re-phrase the question.
