Positano

Hi, we're travelling to the Amalfi coast in late May and have our eye on villa quercia

http://www.villadellaquercia.com/direction.htm

does anyone know how far it is from this place into Positano (ie walking) and whether there is a regular bus service along this route

cheers, Shaun

Ciao Shaun,

the Villadellaquercia is in Nocelle, just along from Montepertuso high above Positano. There is a bus service which takes about 25/30 minutes from Positano .The walk down to Positano will take you about 1hr 30mins and the walk up about 2hrs 15mins.

You may want to check with the hotel as to how frequent the bus is.Nocelle and Montepertuso are areas that many tourists from Positano go to in the evenings.

Sharun - The bus service is run by Flavio Gioia buses and is infrequent in May. Here's the timetable:

Hope this helps ...
