A friend mentioned attending a classical guitar concert in the old Bari Cathedral-anybody know anything about that? Also, on a previous visit we happened upon teams building human pyramids in the square-anyone know when this occurs? Thanks

I did happen to catch that three weeks ago. People were dressed in coats and dresses and for the most part locals. It was very nice but the round dancing in the square to traditional music was more fascinating to me. Wish I knew more about it because it was very interesting.

I was in Placa De Sant Jaume square in front of the Barcelona Town Hall(near Las Ramblas)on June 21, 2009 and saw a human pyramid. We were told they were celebrating an upcoming holiday (whether this is true or not, I don't know), but this may have been for La Fête de Saint John, Saint John’s Day (June 24). Since June 24th fell on a Wednesday, they may have celebrated thier holiday the weekend before.
