Barcelona airport to Sitges

What is the best way to get from the Barcelona airport to Sitges where I will be staying for one week in Late September.
Also, does anyone know the cost of a train ticket from Sitges back into to the city of Barcelona.

Take the train from the airport station and change at the next stop (El Prat de Llobregat) for another going for Sant Vincenç de Calders. Sitges is the sixth stop. Takes around 50 min including change.
Sitges is in Zone 3, so one-way fare to Barcelona Center is 1.95 euro.

Alternatively a taxi from the airport to Sitges is pretty quick and will make luggage handling easier too.

Also there is a coach line, named MontBlanc (? I may be mistaken but it sounded like that). I learned that by googling and got the time table at airport information. It was not so frequent, maybe every hour or two, so it may not be practical for you. I have done train route via El Prat de Llobregat other posters mentioned that's not difficult but once I wanted try a different route with a different view so with a little wait, I once took it. If the timing is right for you, the convenience is you don't have to change like train, the coach goes direct to Sitges and the price was the same as train or maybe cheaper. Train is not expensive either anyway.

It is 5 Euros round trip from downtown Barcelona to Sitges. It takes 38 or 46 minutes, depending on the train
