Barcelo Grand Seville and bus to Granada?

We are staying there the week that Feria startsand the first day of Feria.we had virtually no other choices- it is expensive- does anyone know how close it is to the major sights of Seville? How nice is it- we are paying a lot more than we had planned. We plan to take the bus from Seville to Granada midweek- are there a lot of busses and how long is the bus ride? Thanks.

I can't help with hotels but the train from Seville to Granada took about 3 hours and cost 18 euros/person.

It was a comfortable ride.

Patrick,
According to
www.continental-auto.es
the bus co. on that route is Alsina Graells, and there are daily departures from Seville to Granada at 8, 8:30, 9, 11, noon, 3, 3:30, 4:30, 7:30 p.m. Trip takes from 2 hr. 45 min. to 3 1/2 hrs. and cost is 14.91 euros.
Hope this helps.
Patrick,

The Barcelo Gran Hotel Renacimiento is a very nice modern hotel, 4 stars. It was built for the 1992 World´s Fair.
It has all the conveniences and although I have never stayed I have visited their public areas and other Barcelo Hotels and the service is always very nice.
They are located a bit far from the center, in the new part of town that was built for the Expo 92, by the the Alamillo bridge, but public transportation si very good and frequent. Also if I remember correctly there is Feria special bus stop near the Hotel, a sort of shuttle service, all day and night. I wouldn´t be surprised if the hotel has their own shuttle service too, even to the downtown area, like other big hotels in the suburbs do.

Dear Patrick,

Sorry, the hotel is 5 stars, not 4 stars, hence the rate...
You can do a virtual tour on the following webpage:

http://www.barcelo-hotels.com

Check out the high tech restaurant!
