You are going to have so much fun and I'm happy for you all. I also wish I was able alter my plans already made for Rome in Feb. and to join you, but that's just not possible.
We could have had apartments located all over the center, a differant one every night to celebrate in. Happy planning.

Ha, ecat - there is always next trip??!!This is very exciting for me, not only the prospect of "entertaining" in our apt. in Roma, but also meeting up with my good buddy Seaurchin and hopefully other wild and crazy, fun loving Fodorites. It doesn't get much better than this. Well....

My husband and I and 2 daughters (17 & 14) are arriving for our first visit to Rome on the morning of the 19th!My girls are old enough to fend for themselves at the hotel, so do let us know about your party plans. What fun.

Oh my! Shall I have my SIL warn all those Romeo's in bella Roma to "run for their lives"? LOL. 
I have the feeling, although cara Roma has been invaded by many beauties before that they may not be ready for all of you! Do take many photos! These and a true, notice I said true as in "the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth" report will be the Fodors thread of the decade I believe.

BTW, Sea Urchin & Barb, a good LOCAL restaurant in Trastevere is Mario's. I believe it's on Via Del Moro very near to Santa Maria Church. I had lunch there last year and really enjoyed it. Mike

I don't think I can make the gathering on the 19th as my Italy dates are March 23-April 14. I suppose I can try coercing my stodgy fiance to accompany me south to Roma for a fete post-March 19 - I suspect he would be the only Italian in the group - and he doesn't speak English! Anyway, I will tentatively plan on it, but can't say for sure until closer to the date.

Well I haven't been 'wild and crazy' in 20 yrs and I'm not blonde.
But is there room for a big, ugly truckdriver-type with a long grey ponytail ?
I'm in Rome from March 6-20.
There's a Mcdonalds near my hotel so I could bring the burgers and fries.
