Baggage covers

One of our Sunday papers had a spread on travel gifts, and one that caught my ege was a stretchy knit suitcase cover. The covers come in bright prints, useful for spotting at the baggage carousel. They're called BagRatz and pull down for security inspection. Evidently the TSA hasn't had any problems with the covers.

I wonder how long such covers might last under normal wear and tear.

And what would happen if security needed to open the suitcase . . .

I googled bagratz and bag ratz, got only candy. Underhill, is there a URL in that newspaper so we can see it?

Never mind, I found it when searched for suitcase cover. This shows even how to put it on!

I wonder if TSA will bother to pull that tight cover back on. Most probably not.

And that TSA doesn't have a problem with the covers, is this coming from TSA or from people who would say anything just to sell.

It prohbably COULD be very useful but I do wonder if TSA would bother to put it back in place if they had to remove or open it for some reason.
Remember those "saran wrap" machines that were used to "secure" pieces of luggage?

Maybe some are sold with zippers for easier handling? But this type won't last as long, I assume.
