We're flying out of Boston in March on BA and I'm afraid to even look at their web site for fear that we'll be cancelled. Although, it looks as though it's flights coming into the U.S. Am I correct?

Hi tp,

So far it's flights coming into the US. Thus, you should be able to get to Europe with no trouble.

You just won't be able to get home.

And also noted in the news is an anonymous government official claiming that there is a third threatened airline (US-based) but the airline wasn't identified.

If we get stuck in Paris I guess it'll be ok, just have to call in sick.

Other flights ex-USA can also be affected, because the plane that would be used remains stuck in Europe. That happened the last time.

Good luck to everyone who has these flights.

The BBC news website says the cancellation includes flights leaving the US as well. BA Flight 222 (Dulles to London) and Air France AF207 (Dulles to Paris).

At least in our area we have options to fly into Baltimore or National airports as well as Dulles, my husband and I are scheduled for flights in May/June in and out of London from BWI on BA. Too early to be concerned, of course, but just one more thing to think of regarding travel. Deborah

Cancelled flights to the US usually mean cancelled return flights from the US.
