B & B Recommendations

I'm planning a trip to Ireland, London and Normandy in October for two weeks. Prefer B & B's, Castles, Monasteries et al as opposed to hotels. We like to get a feel for the local faire. Thanks.

You can buy sawdays book,"Special Places to Stay" which we did for France with great success. He lists lots of B&B with a wide range of prices.

Not a lot of castles or monasteries in London - nor really that many B&Bs.

In London even most of the places that call themselves "B&Bs" are really low-end tourist grade hotels that serve breakfast in the basement. What sort of budget?

There are thousands of B&Bs in Ireland so we'd need to know which area(s)
