B&B in Normandy France

We will be staying 2 nights in mid-May 2013 in the area of the Normandy beaches.
Just looking for recommendations. We would rather stay in a small B&B than a hotel.
Thanks

If you have a car, try http://en.gites-de-france.com/vacati...tml?critinit=O

but most of the locations are in the countryside. Or this site might be useful: http://www.france-voyage.com/en/

I stayed in St. Mere Eglise a couple of years ago at a small hotel but I met and visited all of the beaches via a private tour guide shared with two other people, and that couple stayed a mile or so away from me at a B&B named A la Bataille De La Fiere and raved about it and the hostess. You'll find fantastic reviews of this B&B on different travel sites. You do need a car.

We stayed here in June, http://relaisdelatourlouise.monsite-orange.fr/ It was nice but Hotel Reine Mathilde looked great and would try it next visit. This is the town of Bayeux, the train is close enough to walk into town or easy to drive there. It was very central for all of the Normandy beaches.

Consider the B&B Aggarthi. (Check review on sites such as Booking.com and Tripadvisor.) It's located very near the Bayeux Tapestry building, about a 10-min. walk from either the train station or the town center.

I have booked the Chateau de Damigny for an upcoming trip this fall, and very much looking forward to it! It's a few miles outside of Bayeux.
