I am thinking of going to the Azores in late may/early June, hopefully before the crowds are too big. I am looking for input on which islands to visit and any recommendations on how long to spend at each. We will be going for 7 - 9 days and will fly into Sao Miguel. We plan to spend several days on this island, maybe the entire trip if that seems appropriate. We are outdoors people, like to hike, see pretty sights, go on adventures etc.. Would welcome any and all input, including any accommodation/activity recommendations if there are particular stand out ones for you. We will be renting a car. Thanks!
