Avignonesi winery Montepulciano?

A friend has offered to arrange a tour for us here in January. Would like to know if I should accept that offer during our two-day stay in the town...can anyone ofer description of the place and the tour?

I can't help you with a description of the place or the tour. But I will say they make wonderful wines. I'd go for that, alone!

Definitely accept! The winery is gorgeous and the grounds are beautiful. They have a website that you can check out to see pictures. I know they also offer lunch and dinner and the food is supposed to be superb, but expensive. I highly recommend Avignonesi.

Just got back from Tuscany and we visited the Avignonesi winery. It's a beautiful place and they are one of the leading wineries in the area. They make Vino Nobile, as well as Umbrian wines.
