Tessietoes - enjoyed reading about your haircut and appreciate your giving the address. Doesn't hurt to put that info I my Paris file!
I had my hair cut in Tours in '08 when visiting the Loire Valley. I have short hair so it wasn't anything terribly drastic but my friends said it was very française!
Waiting for more!

She's lovely - thanks for posting that, flpab.
And tessietoes, I love the haircut story! A lot of stylists (at least here in the U.S.) would NOT do that, i.e. take free rein even when you insist. Mind you, I understand why they might fuss, but I would much rather go that route and let them be artists (or chefs!). Great report, btw.

Thanks, Tessietoes, for responding to my haircut inquiry. What a fab experience and I'm hoping she (or someone) can give me an equally wonderful style. Love the macaroon offering! Really enjoying your report and will strive to do the same.

Irock, it's official!
powhatangal, Loire Valley haircut, love that.
YankyGal, I enjoyed your NYC Thanksgiving report, perfect timing for the holidays!
flpab & baglady, I'm sure it'll be a memorable experience for you too and would love to hear all about it.
Here's a video I just found in my stash. Pardon the dizzying effects, it was never meant for public viewing. Also my first time uploading a video on Youtube, oops forgot a title.
day four:
Place des Vosges at sunset.

powhatangal, have not yet made it to Victor's house, perhaps next trip. Did you enjoy it? We just love Place des Vosges morning, noon and sunset. It really is one of our all time favorite chill spots in Paris.
Coming up:
Picnic with le policier en riant, Musée Carnavalet, and the super delicious...L'éclair de génie!

Tessietoes, Victor Hugo's house is interesting. It's free and might take 30 minutes. What I enjoyed about it was looking out the windows and the views of the Place des Vosges.
Great picture of the éclairs. They almost look too pretty to eat. Over the years I have taken lots of pics of the French patisseries I am about to eat!
