ATMs in Sirmione, Dolomites and Venice

Will be going to these places beginning next week (if I get over this damn cold), and wondered about the availability of ATMs. Anybody know? OUr base in the Dolomites will be Ortisei and one night in Cortina.

Not a problem--ATMs are everywhere.

There are three or four ATM's in Sirmione at the "Castle" end of the village. There are a couple on your left as you walk through the archway.

Venice has lots, no problems there. Ortisei has plenty too.

While I'm at it - We bought the Venice Museum Pass on line. Besides the Doge's Palace and Ca'Rezzonico - which of these (which are included in the Pass) do you think are worth visiting?

Doge's Palace;
Correr Museum;
National Archaeological Museum;
Grand Chambers of the Marciana National Library;
Ca'Rezzonico, Museum of Eighteenth Century Venice;
Carlo Goldoni's House;
Mocenigo Palace Museum and the Centre of Studies on the History of Textiles and Costumes;
Ca' Pesaro - International Gallery of Modern Art and the Oriental Art Museum;
Glass-working Museum at Murano;
Lace Museum at Burano

We LOVED the Ca'Rezzonico, however there are varied opinions about it on this site. If you go, spend some time sitting in the little garden. Definitely look for or ask for location of the bust - 'Veiled Woman' or Lady or similar. I could not believe my eyes. She is carved from stone & she has a stone veil over her face, yet her face is visible - such mastery! I was in awe of such talent.

We also liked the Correr Museum very much & preferred it to the Accademia (sp?). It does not seem to be as popular, for some reason, therefore no crowds.

The Lace Museum in Murano was interesting, but not that much there. However, we were lucky enough to be there when the ladies' magic fingers were at work. Watching them was fascinating.

Sorry, did not experience the others on your list.

There is an ATM in the airport also; we always use it. After you collect your bags & walk thru the doors, turn right; continue walking & you will run right into it at the wall.

Enjoy, Julie
