I absolutely agree - a BofA debit card won't save you ANY money in <u>Scotland</u> (other parts of the UK are a different matter). Sure, you can withdraw cash when you hit Edinburgh -- but just about everywhere else you'll pay their higher than average transaction fees.

So, unless you take out a lot of cash, and then have the security issues of carrying a lot of cash, your BofA card will end up costing you more. Not a huge amount in the scheme of things, but definitely not a money saver . . .
