Assisi

I have a question about the train station in Assisi. We will be traveling with bags and wish to stop (for the day) and continue travel to Rome. Is there a place to store our bags in the train station? If so, is it easy to locate?

I don't know if they have luggage storage, but the station is small and if they do, you can find it. Why not spend one night in Assisi. It's a wonderful place.

According to Trenitalia, there is luggage storage at the station in Assisi.

YES you can store luggage there for a day trip up to the top of the town, the old town. There's a little store/newsstand right there set up to do so for a modest fee. Then you can take a taxi or bus up the hill.

Also, an easy walk from the train station (away from the hill of the old town) is the church where St. Francis's original tiny church is (inside the bigger church). I think it's Santa Maria Degli Angeli. WELL worth the stop!

Thanks all for the great information. I tried Trentialia for the schedule from Frienze to Assisi and it indicated no solutions found. Am I missing something?

Or use the English version and enter Florence and Assisi:
