And here some pictures taken at last year's "Osterreiten" in Ostritz - Cistercian Abbey St. Marienthal near Görlitz, an Easter custom that sadly is cancelled for this year.

I would’ve popped in to see you, Ingo, if I’d ‘known’ you then, LOL.
We were visiting the hammer mill in Frohnau, and a lace museum in Annaberg, lots of wonderful little stops.
I like smaller places, as you well know.

Ingo--I really wish I would have taken a picture of the breakfast spread at the Gewandhaus. It was so good! I do have a few food pics from other meals, so will find some of those. One day I stopped at Camondas and had the lightest, best dessert!

mms - I am sure the breakfast buffet at Gewandhaus is fantastic. Been at Camondas on 01 March. Always yummy!

Lübeck - looks like this was our last real trip before Mommy fell ill. And it is also food-related ;-)

quokka, haven’t been to northern Germany, looks interesting.
(BTW, I keep meaning to go to Rottnest Island and see a quokka for myself.)
