Are there any cheap flights between Munich and Vienna?
I have been looking for inexpensive air from Munich to Vienna and can't seem to find any. Maybe I am not looking in the right place. Does anyone happen to know if such a flight exists? I know the train has a good route, but wondered about flying instead.
Thanks

Hi Deb,
It's a 4-hr train ride for 29E.
See www.bahn.de
Airberlin doesn't show a Munich/Vienna route.

Hi K,
Not your fault really.
www.whichbudget.com is still listing it.
It appears that there are no cheap MUC/VIE flights.

Deb;
There are no cheap one way flights as the route is not served by discount carriers. However, you can book a return flight on Lufthansa for about $114 US and then simply not get on the return flight.
Airlines frown on usch behaviour, but unless you are connecting on somewhere after the return flight with them, they can't do a darn thing about you not getting on the return flight. Heck, they w
won't know where you are.
