Anyone used Karen Brown Agency?

We are planning atrip to venice & Chamonix for next summer. I usually make all reservations myself. However, there seem to be several options in flying from Venice to
airpots near Chamonix- 3 different airports nearby & several airlines. I am thinking about using a travel agent this time-maybe Karen Brown. Have any of you had experience with this agency? Thank you for your help.
Robbie

If you are speaking of Karen Brown--the well know travel ADVISOR then NO ONE HAS USED the agency...it's not an agency. (Tho you can now book a few hotels through the web site in conjunction with some outfit called tablet booking.) Why don't you just choose someone local?

There is an agency listed in Karen Brown's travel guides as KB Travel Service. I thought they might be more knowledgable than local agents. I've quit using locals because I have not found them to be very efficient.

Hi Sherri,
The travel service,KB Travel Service is listed in the back of her Italy guide. It says they will book airline & rail tickets as well as accomodations and other details-a full service agency.
However, I have no idea how dependable they are, which is the reason for my
posting. The book gives 800 number and email address.

Hi Robbie,
That "not an agency" post above was from me so thought I should re-post to say, sorry, didn't ever notice this service before..it's actually also a link on the KB web site! All my dealings with KB--from the printed guides to the web site listings has been reliable. We did recently book a couple of the hotels though the web site and that was perfect also. I'd say give it a go and let us all know how it works out. And thanks for this new information!

I am assuming this link would be for hotel reservations only.Karen Brown usually provides an email adress; and I have had no problem booking hotels directly ; I would try that first.
Good luck ...keep us up dated.
Sherri

Hi Sherrie,
No, I went to the link and it says they can make ALL the arrangements and specifically include air and other transport. Like I implied...who knew!
