I will be in PARIS and available for a GTG on the following nights May 11, and any night from the 13 -16. Would love to meet up with some people for a GTG. I will be off line after Friday morning from about 10 AM until next Wednesday.
I went to the May 2009 GTG and it was fun.

Hi joanl, it is a Get together. We all meet at a restaurant or bar and put faces to the names!! It is great fun. When are you in Paris? please come along if the dates suit you. I am trying to organise one for June time, but so far May seems to be more popular - but I am not there then!!

Anyone else out there for June/July time. I am in Paris 9th June - 22nd then 3rd ish - 7th July.

Oh, schanuzer, how I think of my neighbor's dog when I see your screen name. I'll be in Amsterdam a couple days late June on my way home from East Africa. Train on over and we can GTG there!

Leely - tempting, tempting!! How easy is it to get to Amsterdam from the UK. I will do some research!! I am in the throes of moving as we type. boxes et al everywhere. Very stressful but I am coping one day at a time. I know I have made the right decision and I am much happier within myself so that is the most important thing. When are you coming to Australia?

I'd love to attend. This would be my third or fourth Paris GTG. We are in Paris May 25 to June 2 and I count 5 others previously answering this thread who overlap those dates. In my experience GTGs for wine before dinner seem to work well. That way folks with dinner plans can still attend and those who like can stay for dinner or all mosey on to another venue for dinner together. Happy to help with the planning.

Hello schnauzer...

We met in Paris at a Fodors GTG early last May (at Perraudin).
Unfortunately as I am spending a few days in Bosnia at the end of May I cannot justify a trip to Paris to meet you again.

But, I think I read somewhere you are going to be in London, or somewhere in the UK in May or June? If so I'd love to meet you again, discuss teenage boys (LOL!) and just have a chat. I can get a train to London, which takes less than 2 hours.

I am in Paris April 23 thru 27 and Amsterdam April 27 thru May 1 if anyone is interested in a GTG in either place. (Or Epernay after that, but I might be slurring my words after the visits to the Champagne houses.
