Yes, my wife and I stayed at that hotel a couple of years ago. Nice rooms, helpful staff, good central location, a very good value for the money. We'll stay there again on our much-anticpated 2007 trip. Didn't thing much of the restaurant, though.

Hi there Cimbrone!
I LOVE Uzes!! My sister and her husband introduced us to this amazing place in 2002. They have friends that have a beautiful farmhouse with a vineyard in Cavillion and visit Uzes quite regularly, and while they were staying there, they were introduced to this little gem of a place. Once you have been....you'll be hooked....I was. We visited Aix, Nimes, Avigon, Gigondas, Le Floret (which has a fabulous hotel there overlooking vinyards but sorry cannot think of the name) Lussan, St. Quentin La Poterie (had dinner at Table L'Orange..sorry bout spelling) which was fabulous!! Stayed in a villa just steps from Place aux Herbes. Zannelli's was a wonderful restraunt just around the corner. My husband has never been and so we are planning a trip to France in May 08 and will be staying there for a week for sure!! Thanks for all the super posts!! I will bookmark for sure. All you valuable info makes the planning all that more fun!! You can literally walk around the entire town and find something to interest you without leaving the town itself!! I can hardly wait to share this magical place with my DH. Last time I was there, it was with my mom and 2 sisters. Take care...Cath
